The Mother Monster will reportedly perform her new song called 'Chaos Angel' at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards.

AceShowbiz - A leaked production notes show Lady GaGa as the first performer of the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. The leak comes after Britney Spears and G-Eazy were reported to open the upcoming annual awards show with their new song "Make Me".

In a screenshot of what appears to be a draft copy of production notes shared by a fan, GaGa is revealed to take the stage in the beginning of the night and perform a song titled "Chaos Angel". The leaked draft copy is reportedly originated from 22 Degrees, a professional television and live-event lighting company.

The timing is perfect, considering previous rumor that GaGa will release a brand new single within the next 30 days.

Britney was previously rumored as the first performer at the upcoming VMAs after she canceled two "Piece of Me" shows in Las Vegas on the same weekend as the event.

The 2016 VMAs will air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, August 28. On August 9, MTV premiered the first promo of the VMAs with the title "The Canvas Is Ready" as they're "waiting for artist to make their mark."
