Tyga Could Get Arrested Once His Vacation With Kylie Jenner Is Over

The rapper will likely be detained once he returns to the U.S. following his vacation with girlfriend Kylie in Turks and Caicos.

AceShowbiz - After missing a court hearing earlier this week, Tyga is now happily spending time with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner to celebrate her 19th birthday in Turks and Caicos. However, he won't be too happy once their vacation is over because he may face jail time upon returning to the U.S.

Boris Treyzon, lawyer for the landlord Tyga has a problem with, told PEOPLE that the rapper would likely get detained once he comes in contact with law enforcement. "Yesterday was his day to [appear in court] and he didn't show up," he said.

"We requested the court to issue a bench warrant. The court agreed with us that his actions have been not what society demands of him, so they issued a bench warrant. Now, if he comes in contact with law enforcement, they will likely detain him and keep him detained until he posts bond," he continued.

Tyga is owing the landlord, Gholamreza Rezai, more than $480,000 for causing damages to the property he once rented. He recently made Rezai angrier when he chose to buy Kylie a brand new car for her birthday gift instead of paying his debt. He was supposed to appear in court Tuesday, August 9 to answer questions about where he's hiding his assets.

"Once [Tyga was] served, the lien is created," Treyzon explained. "Of course, we have an irate client who is owed half a million dollars and then the client reads that Tyga is giving a Maybach as a gift - that's in violation of two things. There is a hold on him transferring any assets while there is a judgment outstanding - that's going to be a separate action to recover that car unless the judgment is satisfied - and he's to appear in court, be placed under oath and he needs to answer questions."

"His history in this case has been that he's ignoring this obligation and many others," Treyzon added. "This is not the only judgment that is against him. I think we are the only ones who took it this far, because it's a large amount. We take our representation very seriously and we will continue to do it until our client is satisfied. Hopefully, now he understands there are repercussions and we will continue to push this matter forward. We will go wherever we have to go to make sure our client is paid."

The report of Tyga missing a court appearance didn't only upset his former landlord, but also the family of Kylie. Some members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have reportedly taken turns to scold him on the phone, saying that his arrest could ruin their brand. He, however, is said to have hired a lawyer to clean up the mess he made.
