AceShowbiz - Cara Delevingne's attempt to stop her dog Leo from barking draws outrage. Some animal lovers criticized the British actress after the canine was spotted wearing what appeared to be a "pepper spray" collar around his neck when she recently took him for a walk in London.
Leo was seen with the anti-barking device as they left Claridge's Hotel where she has been staying while promoting her new film "Suicide Squad". To those who aren't familiar with the controversial collar, it will spray citronella when activated by sound above certain decibel.
Lynn Barber, the training and behavior manager for Dogs Trust charity, was among people who were upset to find out that Cara's dog had the collar. "At the Dogs Trust we don't recommend the use of any adverse technique or equipment for any kind of behavior issue," she told the Daily Mail. "You have to find out the cause of the dog's behavior rather than punish it."Cara Delevingne is in the doghouse over her puppy's 'pepper-spray collar' https://t.co/TksqwQS5gT pic.twitter.com/02oBCa0aNN

Some people also expressed their anger on social media. "I've got a problem when Cara Delevingne or any jerk uses a pepper spray collar on their dog to control barking," a Twitter user wrote. "Don't like the idea of Cara Delevingne's dog having a pepper spray collar to stop him from barking," another added.
Cara's hasn't responded to the criticism. The model adopted the husky last year and named him Leo after her star sign. Explaining her decision to adopt the dog, she once said, "I wanted a baby for a while. But I thought, well..."
