The school denies that the actress will teach a class this fall, but says they'll welcome her if she one day decides to share her 'experiences and perspectives' with their students.

AceShowbiz - No Professor Angelina Jolie for Georgetown University students. The Washington D.C. private college has denied a recent report claiming that the "Maleficent" actress would serve as a visiting professor this fall.

In a statement issued over the weekend, the school said that they currently had no plan to have Jolie teaching their students. However, they will welcome the 41-year-old star if she one day decides to share her "experiences and perspectives" at the college.

"Georgetown's Institute for Women, Peace and Security is recognized around the world for its work to advance and promote the role of women in peace and security," read the statement. "We enjoy a partnership with the London School of Economics as part of that work, where Angelina Jolie and William Hague are scheduled to teach a class in the fall. There are no current plans for Ms. Jolie to teach at Georgetown, but Angelina Jolie and William Hague have an open invitation to share their experiences and perspectives at Georgetown anytime they're able."

Back in May, it was announced that Jolie would be a visiting professor for London School of Economics' new master's degree course on women, peace and security. She will teach alongside British politician William Hague.

At the time, she discussed what the students could expect from her special class. "It is vital that we broaden the discussion on how to advance women's rights and end impunity for crimes that disproportionately affect women, such as sexual violence in conflict," she explained. "I am looking forward to teaching and learning from the students, as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations."
