LiLo opens up about her relationship with her Russian boyfriend, claiming that he has been violent towards her but she still hopes for reconciliation.

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan broke her silence after her explosive breakup with her Russian boyfriend Egor Tarabasov. The former child actress said for the first time about their big fight where she was caught on camera screaming for help after he allegedly tried to strangle her.
"Egor and I had been out for dinner. We danced, it was fun," she recalled. "When we got home I went to bed and Egor went out. A few hours later he came back and when I woke up he was standing over me. He wasn't himself, he was being very aggressive and he attacked me."
"It's not the first time. I wanted to do this interview because it's time to tell the truth," LiLo told The Mail on Sunday which obtained pictures from another of their violent scuffle. "There have been so many lies printed about me recently. I've kept quiet for so long but now I'm scared of what Egor might do to me and to himself."

Egor was seen in the photos pinning her arm behind her back. It was supposed to be her 30th birthday celebration, but she ended up throwing his phone and he wrestled her to get it back. The incident happened on a beach in the Greek island of Mykonos. "Egor drank too much and he went crazy," she said without going into details.
According to her, she hasn't met Egor since their explosive fight but she hasn't taken off her ring either. "The truth is, I wanted to make things work, but now I'm not sure that I can," she said. "I realise now you can't stay in a relationship just for love. No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn't prepared to say sorry."
"I need closure," she added. "I genuinely fell in love with him but he broke my trust and made me feel unsafe. I know I'm not an angel but I've tried to fix things. It's down to him now. I had suggested we go for couples' counselling but there comes a time when I have to put myself first, my family, and also think about my career which I've worked so hard for. I also don't want to let my fans down by not being the strong woman I have become."
