AceShowbiz - Taylor Lautner proves that he has always been a heartthrob. Taking part in #TBT earlier this week, the "Twilight" actor posted on Instagram a photo of him revealing that he's been having that six-pack his entire life.
Taken in 1999 when he was still 7 years old, the snap features shirtless Lautner flexing his muscles while posing with martial artist Michael Chaturantabut on a beach. "#tbt beach flexin 99' #summerbod," the now-24-year-old star wrote in the caption.
Lautner's has been working out ever since he was so young. At the age of six he began studying martial arts in his hometown of Hudsonville, Michigan, and at eight he was already good enough to earn the title of Junior World Forms and Weapons champion.
He's shown his fit physique in some of his movies, including "Twilight" and its follow-ups in which he plays Jacob. However, it doesn't mean he agrees to ditch his shirt for every films he stars in. In an interview a few years ago, he revealed that he refused to go shirtless in "Valentine's Day".
"Originally I was supposed to take off my shirt [in 'Valentine's Day']. The script said we were walking into school and [my character] Willy takes off his shirt. I said, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time out. He's gonna take off his shirt in the middle of school? No, no, no,' " he said at the time. "The reason I took off my shirt for ['The Twilight Saga's New Moon'] is because it's written in the book that way. And there's reasons behind it."
