The Black Sabbath frontman has undergone 'intense therapy' for sexual addiction after his affair with hairstylist Michelle Pugh was exposed.

AceShowbiz - Ozzy Osbourne drops bombshells. The rocker admits to cheating on his wife Sharon Osbourne with multiple women including rumored mistress Michelle Pugh. He also reveals his long struggle with sexual addiction. "Over the last six years, Ozzy Osbourne has been dealing with a sex addiction," his representative says.

"He would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with. Out of the bad comes good. Since his relationship with Ms. Pugh was exposed, Ozzy has gone into intense therapy," the rep continues. "Ozzy is mortified at what his behavior has done to his family. He thanks God that his incredible wife Sharon is at his side to support him."

Before the statement was released, Michelle went public with details of her affair with the Black Sabbath frontman. The hairstylist told PEOPLE, "He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world." She insisted, "When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it."

According to the mistress, Ozzy pursued her a year after they first met in late 2011 when she colored his hair. It "felt like an old-fashioned romance. Being courted. I loved it," she said. She also claimed Ozzy was "unhappy" in his marriage and he "consistently and willingly and generously" gave her "his love."

The hairstylist insisted it was "chemistry," and not his celebrity status, that attracted her to the rocker. "We just had it. It's that indescribable thing in life, and you can't deny it. And he didn't," she said, adding that they connected on an "emotional level" and had "shared passions" for painting, history and current events.

"My relationship was more with this really nice, sweet, funny and cool guy ... John from England," so Michelle described their romance. Despite Ozzy's claim that he had more than just one mistress, the hairstylist suggested that they were exclusive, "He made it clear to me and asked me not to see anyone else. We had a very real relationship."

"He is a grown man. He is capable of making the decision to be with me. If he has chosen to not be, that is fine. I accept it and move on. But he has been my best friend for the last few years, so of course I am grieving the loss for that."

"I still love him," she added. "And I would never exploit the truly personal and private parts of what we had. That's not me. I'm going to stand tall and proud and say, 'This is me. I'm not ashamed.' I fell in love with a man that gave me the love I never knew I could receive."

Now that they are no longer in touch, Michelle claimed it's a "struggle every day now" for her. "I wake from my dreams, which some nights he's in, and for a minute when I wake I'm peaceful," so she said. "Then the absence sets in. It's horrible."

As soon as the interview was out, Ozzy's camp refutes it, insisting that what happened between the rocker and the hairstylist was nothing more than a physical relationship. "He is sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context," his representative says.
