AceShowbiz - Tom Holland's Spider-Man may not yet be done with his cameo appearance in the MCU movies after appearing in "Captain America: Civil War". Jon Watts, the director of "Spider-Man: Homecoming", tweeted to "Thor: Ragnarok" helmer Taika Waititi to drop a clue that the webslinger could appear alongside the God of Thunder in the third "Thor" film.

Watts tweeted to Waititi first on Sunday, July 31 to ask if Spider-Man is going to be in the next "Thor" film. Waititi then hinted at the possibility of Holland's Spidey crossing paths with Chris Hemsworth's Thor in the upcoming film by replying, "I just need his head. Send immediately." Watts didn't seriously respond to the tweet as he replied to it with a gif of Brad Pitt.

Aside from the speculation of Spidey appearing in "Thor: Ragnarok", some of the cast members have been teasing fans with pictures previewing the upcoming movie. So far, fans have got the first look at Karl Urban's Skurge as he showed off his shaved head, and a sword that Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie will wield in the film.

The plot details of the third installment of the "Thor" film series have been kept under wraps. Hemsworth is set to reprise his role as the God of Thunder, joined by returning cast members Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins. Mark Ruffalo will additionally reprise his Marvel character Hulk.

As for "Spider-Man: Homecoming", the flick centers on Holland's Peter Parker back to his high-school roots. The film also stars Zendaya Coleman, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Donald Glover, Michael Keaton, Logan Marshall-Green and Martin Starr.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" hits U.S. on July 7, 2017, while "Thor: Ragnarok" is slated for a November 3, 2017 release.
