AceShowbiz - New behind-the-scenes image of "The Mummy" reboot has landed online. Actress Annabelle Wallis took to her Twitter account to show fans a picture of her with other cast members taken from the set in Namibia, South Africa.

The picture features the 31-year-old actress posing in the desert along with lead actor Tom Cruise and other cast members, Jake Johnson and Courtney B. Vance. She wrote in the caption, "#THEMUMMY in Africa. #Namibia, we are so excited to be here!"

The new "Mummy" follows an ancient queen whose destiny was unjustly taken from. She is awakened in the current day after years of safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert. It brings with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.

The upcoming film stars Sofia Boutella as the Mummy. Russell Crowe, Marwan Kenzari, Javier Botet and Dylan Smith are among other cast members. Directed by Alex Kurtzman from a script written by Jon Spaihts, "The Mummy" will hit U.S. theaters on June 9, 2017.
