'The Flash' trailer teases the Flashpoint storyline, the 'Arrow' promo shows some vigilante wannabes, and the 'Legends of Tomorrow' trailer introduces the Legion of Doom.

AceShowbiz - Day 3 of the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con International was a feast for DC Comics fans as The CW presented its superhero series. The panels for "The Flash", "Arrow" and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" debuted first look at the new season of the respective shows.

The "Flash" season 3 trailer focuses on the Flashpoint storyline which finds Barry Allen living with both of his parents. His life isn't peaceful though as Reverse-Flash/Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher) warms him about the ramifications of his action. His friends Iris, Cisco and Joe also find him a stranger.

Writer Todd Helbing teased, "This is something that is going to ripple throughout the whole season. Obviously Barry grew up with a different family. His parents were still alive, Cisco has gone on to make some money. One of the effects is ['Arrow' character] Diggle himself. You'll have to tune in to see exactly how."

Todd also revealed there would be two new villains in the upcoming season. "One is a speedster that we'll reveal later and the other, the one in the creepy mask, is Doctor Alchemy," he said. The latter will be voiced by Tobin Bell, who played Jigsaw in the "Saw" films.

Tom Felton, who joins the cast in season 3, was coy about his character. "I think any character I play you should see as a threat," the actor said. "But I honestly don't know. I tried to get both of these writers tipsy last night to prise some info out of them, but it didn't work. There's definitely some friction between Barry and Julian. There's some feathers ruffled pretty early on, so I'm intrigued to see where this goes. Anything's possible. I could be a woman by episode 6."

"Arrow" season 5 trailer, meanwhile, shows Oliver and Felicity training some amateur vigilantes who are expected to fill the void left by Diggle, Thea and Laurel. Katie Cassidy's Laurel returns in flashback scene, showing her in the hospital and telling Oliver, "You're instinct has always been to go it alone. Ollie, you can't."

There are also some scenes that show Oliver in a match. As for a hooded figure at the end of the trailer, executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed, "He's a new character. He's our big bad for the year. We call him Prometheus. It's not the Grant Morrison, Howard Porter Prometheus from the Justice League. He's a new character that fits in with the theme of legacy for this season. He's pretty badass and mean."

"Legends" also introduces its new villain in the promo for season 2, the Legion of Doom, represented by Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) in the video. It also consists of Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller).

But don't worry because the Legends will get some aid from several members of the Justice Society of America. In addition to Rex Tyler aka Hourman (Patrick J. Adams) who was introduced in season 1, the second season will feature Obsidian, Stargirl and Dr. Mid-Nite.

Moreover, "Arrow" star Stephen Amell will guest star this season and appear as Mayor Oliver Queen in the season premiere.

In its own panel, "Supergirl" introduced its Superman, played by Tyler Hoechlin. It's also revealed that Christopher Wood's unknown DC character was the one in the pod at the end of season 1.
