The 'Hollaback Girl' hitmaker kicked off her 'This Is What the Truth Feels Like' tour in Boston with a huge numbers of empty seats.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani kicked off her "This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour" at the Xfinity Center in Boston on Tuesday, July 12 with a huge number of empty seats. Two weeks before the Boston show, only 30 percent of the tickets were sold, prompting Live Nation to sell four tickets for only $40.

Yahoo! Music through Live Nation is giving fans access to the concert by live-streaming the show. According to Perez Hilton, in order to make the arena seemed packed, the venue cut off the lawn - which seats thousands - and relocated the audience to the front.

In a video shared by the celeb blogger, it can be seen how empty the concert was. Sources claim Live Nation reps were standing outside the venue and giving free tickets to anyone.

Gwen hasn't commented on the issue yet. She shared on Instagram a photo of her posing with a fan at her Boston concert. She wore a glittery black-and-red dress paired with net stockings. Her blonde locks were tied up in a ponytail. "Got to meet my homie #justagirl Gx #thisiswhatthetruthfeelslike."

Earlier in the day, she posted a promotional video for her concert.

"This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour" is Gwen's fourth solo concert tour in support of her third studio album "This Is What the Truth Feels Like". The tour will continue throughout North America before concluding in Inglewood at The Forum on October 15.
