The Gal Gadot-starring superhero movie is confirmed to follow the story of Diana Prince before she reaches her full potential.

AceShowbiz - The official synopsis of "Wonder Woman" has been unveiled. It's confirmed that the movie will depict the heroine's origin story. "Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior," the synopsis describes.
"Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers ... and her true destiny."
Directed by Patty Jenkins, the DC movie is led by Gal Gadot. It's due June 2, 2017 Stateside. Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright and David Thewlis are among the cast members.
