AceShowbiz - As the production of "Star Wars Episode VIII" is near completion, Daisy Ridley is teasing fans by posting a behind-the-scene picture on Instagram on Monday, July 4. "#DOUBLEPOSTMONDAY! If @riancjhonson can share it, so can I oooooh la laaaaaa, where could it be, what could it mean!" she captioned the photo.
The picture shows a mysterious island which is assumed to be Ach-To, the place where Ridley's Rey finds Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) at the end of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". It's also the place where first Jedi temple was located and Luke was looking for something that could only be found in the temple's ruins.
Her post came right after director Rian Johnson posted on Instagram a picture of what seems to be an old delivery truck which has BB-8 drawn onto its sides.
"Star Wars Episode VIII" has been filmed since early February. It's set to wrap on July 22. The film follows the story of Rey (Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Luke Skywalker, Leia (Carrie Fisher) and other characters as they fight back the force of the First Order.
The film is slated for a December 15, 2017 release in the U.S.
