AceShowbiz - Katy Perry proves that she's the queen of Twitter. The "Roar" hitmaker has been named the most-followed user on the micro-blogging site as she reached 90 million followers, becoming the first person in this entire planet to do so, on Friday, July 1.
Her new milestone was announced by Twitter, which posted a picture of the 31-year-old songbird and jokingly captioned it, "It's party time, @katyperry! With 90 million on the guest list, we're gonna need a really big dance floor." In response to the tweet, Perry retweeted the message and wrote, "Dang this is tight."

In a statement, Twitter also revealed that top six expressions used to refer to Perry by her fans in tweets included "[my] queen," "beautiful," "[the] best," "better [than]," "amazing" and "[my] spirit animal."
Perry joined Twitter in 2009 while she was on tour in Germany. Justin Bieber and Perry's rumored nemesis Taylor Swift are the second and the third-most followed people on Twitter with 83.8 million and 79 million followers respectively.
