AceShowbiz - Matthew McConaughey can add "teacher" to his resume. The Oscar-winning actor will be back to his alma mater, University of Texas at Austin, this fall, tackling on role of college professor alongside "The Hunger Games" director Gary Ross.

The "Dallas Buyers Club" star will teach a course on fimmaking, so the university has announced. He will take 30 students behind the scenes of his film "Free State of Jones", directed by Ross, through recorded studios. McConaughey is expected to make at least one visit to campus for the class.

"By studying the movie's source material, script, shot lists, storyboards, shooting schedules, VFX, final cut and even exclusive behind the scenes footage, students will garner insight into the production of a major Hollywood feature," reads the course description.

The 46-year-old actor, who is currently filming the adaptation of Stephen King's "The Dark Tower", graduated from University of Texas in 1993 with a BA in radio, television and film. This will not be the first time McConaughey is teaching the class tough. In spring 2016, a group of students took a similar course but it wasn't widely publicized.
