AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa shares a cryptic message about love and compassion following controversy over her meeting with Dalai Lama. She received backlash from her Chinese fans because the Tibetan spiritual leader is branded a separatist for trying to split Tibet from China.

"We must stay unified. Be kind not only to your friends, but also your enemies. We have to try to work together towards world peace," the Mother Monster wrote. She didn't directly mention the controversy but she attached her note to a picture of her hugging the monk.

Lady GaGa met Dalai Lama during the 84th annual Conference of Mayors in Indianapolis. She is not the only artist that angered Beijing for meeting the exiled monk. Bon Jovi, Selena Gomez, Maroon 5, Bjork and Oasis also sparked outrage in China for being friendly toward the spiritual leader.
