Bran is back at the Tower of Joy, Cersei has a big plan before the trial, Dany makes a move to Westeros and Melisandre confesses to her wrongdoing in front of Jon Snow.

AceShowbiz - "Game of Thrones" season 6 finale wasn't short of game-changing moments after Jon Snow's won over Ramsay Bolton in the penultimate episode. The June 26 episode finally confirmed long speculation about the true parentage of Ned's bastard son.

But before that, we saw what happened on the day of Cersei and Loras trials. [SPOILER ALERT!] Cersei wasn't going to the trial, while Loras confessed to all his sins in front of the High Sparrow. He decided to devote his life to The Seven, abandoning his title. Margaery was holding her father back before he interfered, but Margaery couldn't hide her shock as she told the High Sparrow, "You mutilated him. You gave me your word."

The High Sparrow sent Lancel to fetch Cersei, but he was stabbed by a small child on the way to the Red Keep and was left to die. Margaery noticed something was wrong because Cersei and Tommen were not at the trial, so she told everyone to get out of the place. But before long, the place was lit on fire with Margaery, Loras and the High Sparrow inside.

Cersei watched with glee, but that didn't last long as Tommen who couldn't watch as his city burnt and his wife died decided to jump off the window and kill himself. Later when Jaime and Bronn arrived back in King's Landing, Jaime watched Cersei sit on the Iron Throne. She was named the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Margaery's grandmother Olenna, who had left the King's Landing, was in Dorne and she was understandably furious with Cersei. She and Ellaria now made an alliance to get their revenge on the Lannisters for the deaths of their loved ones. And guess who was going to help them? It's Varys who promised Daenerys' help to the two fierce ladies.

Dany herself was going to make a huge move to Westeros, so she told Daario to stay and take control of Meereen. He begged her to take him with her because he loved her and could make her happy, but Danny said, "I can't." When speaking with Tyrion, Dany admitted she felt nothing about breaking up with Daario.

In Winterfell, Davos forced Melisandre to confess to her wrongdoing in front of Jon Snow. She admitted that she allowed Shireen to be burned as sacrifice and said it was "the only way." Jon looked at her in disgust and ordered her to ride south and never return. Jon was officially the new King of the North after Lyanna Mormont pledged her loyalty to Jon and the Starks, and other families followed suit.

Elsewhere, Arya crossed a name on her list after she slit Walder Frey's throat while he was eating.

Meanwhile, Bran warged back to the Tower of Joy and followed young Ned up the tower, where Lyanna was in bed covered with blood. She whispered something in Ned's ear and made him promise something. She just gave birth to a baby boy, who grew up to be Jon Snow.
