The 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' actor launches into expletive-ridden rant when talking about the Deflategate scandal on Bill Simmons' 'Any Given Wednesday'.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck seemingly lost his cool when talking about Deflategate on HBO's talk show "Any Given Wednesday". Asked by host Bill Simmons about the scandal that involved Tom Brady, the actor suddenly went into expletive-ridden rant.

"Deflategate is the ultimate bulls**t f**king outrage of sports, ever. It's so f**king stupid," he said. "What they did was suspend Tom Brady for four days for not giving them his f**king cell phone. And for having a friend called 'The Deflator.' If I got in trouble for all the things that my friends called themselves, I'd be finished."

He went on cursing throughout the interview, adding, "I would never give the organization as leak-prone as the NFL my f**king cell phone, so you could just look through my emails? And listen to my voice mails?"

A good friend of Brady, Affleck went on defending the New England Patriots quarterback and calling him "so f**king classy and such a f**king gentleman." He continued, "We're running our greatest player ever through... this, this mill of humiliation and shame, which is totally unwarranted for the sake of our own bruised egos and our embarrassment and to paper over our mismanagement."

Soon after the interview went on air, people took to Twitter to comment on the 43-year-old's appearance on the show. "I think Ben Affleck is drunk. His face looks red and puffy and he seems to be slurring," one speculated. Another wrote, "Liked the show but it seemed as if Ben Affleck was slurring drunk or having some sort of seizure... #AnyGivenWednesday."

Others thought Affleck was just over emotional about the issue. "Ben Affleck on #AnyGivenWednesday sounds like me when I've only had an hour of sleep. Slurring, over-emotional...," a Twitter user wrote.

A source tells TMZ that Affleck was "stone cold sober" during the interview and he was "just passionate" about Brady. He and Simmons reportedly got into a heated argument before the cameras started rolling, so when it began filming he "was already fired up."
