Is Katy Perry Dissing Taylor Swift With Her New Perfume?

Perry names her fragrance 'Mad Love', a term also appearing on Swift's 'Bad Blood' which everyone believes was written with the 'Dark Horse' singer in mind.

AceShowbiz - Did Katy Perry just reignite feud with Taylor Swift? The 31-year-old singer, who's widely believed to be the subject of the former country star's hit "Bad Blood", seemed to take a jab at her nemesis when she recently announced a new fragrance named "Mad Love".

Fans of both singers will notice that the phrase is part of Swift's "1989" single, on which she sings about being betrayed by a former friend. The words appear in the catchy chorus, which reads, " 'Cause baby, now we've got bad blood/ You know it used to be mad love/ So take a look what you've done/ 'Cause baby, now we've got bad blood."

However, it might be a total coincidence since Perry's named her 2015 perfume "Mad Potion". Plus, people used "Mad Love" way before her bad blood with Swift even existed. The term could also refer to Drew Barrymore's 1995 film.

Swift revealed her feud with Perry while promoting her album "1989" in a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone. Back then, she said that "Bad Blood" was written about a fellow female musician who tried to ruin her "Red" tour.

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?' " she said without mentioning a specific name. "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."
