AceShowbiz - Jinger Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting" is officially courting pro soccer hunk Jeremy Vuolo. The 22-year-old daughter of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar announced their courtship on the family's website on Monday, June 20.
"We're happy to announce that we are officially courting!" Jinger and Jeremy said in a cute video announcement, "Which means as opposed to a more casual dating relationship, we really want to honor the Lord and be very intentional about how we move forward."
Jinger met Jeremy last May before they went on a mission trip together. "It was there that I really saw his heart and really admired his character," she said of her new beau, "After that, he contacted my dad and asked if we could get to know each other."
"We are very excited to begin this journey together, and for you to join us along the way," Jeremy added.
Fans of the Duggars will be able to follow Jinger and Jeremy's courtship on "Jill & Jessa: Counting On". She shareed on Instagram a photo of them which was obtained by PEOPLE. "Oh my gosh, YES. His name is Jeremy Vuolo, and he's a professional soccer player. This is awesome #19kids #jingerduggar #jeremyvuolo," she captioned it.
Jeremy played for Major League Soccer club, the New York Red Bulls, before stepping away from the game to pursue ministry. The Syracuse University grad later signed with the San Antonio Scorpions in the North American Soccer League in 2013.
