AceShowbiz - Meat Loaf collapsed onstage during a performance in Edmonton, Canada on Thursday night, June 16. The veteran rocker was in the middle of performing a song in front of the crowd at the Jubilee Auditorium when he suddenly fell to the ground.

The incident was caught in some videos taken and later shared on social media by concertgoers. In the clips, Meat Loaf was seen performing "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" before he hit the floor. The band immediately stopped the music and rushed to help him.

A number of other people jumped onstage as the singer, whose real name is Michael Lee Aday, lay motionless. According to witnesses, ambulances and fire trucks were seen outside the venue. The 68-year-old musician's current condition remains unknown.

This isn't Meat Loaf's first time collapsing onstage. NY Daily News pointed out that he collapsed during a performance in London back in 2003 and was later diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, which can cause an irregular heartbeat. He also fainted during a 2011 Pittsburgh concert, which he managed to finish.

Prior to the latest collapse in Canada, Meat Loaf had canceled shows in Moose Jaw and Calgary earlier this week due to mystery illness.
