The 'Mindy Project' star and the 'Alice Through the Looking Glass' actress are reportedly joining Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett in the upcoming remake.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros.' all-female "Ocean's Eleven" reboot has added two new names to the roster. Mindy Kaling and Helena Bonham Carter will reportedly join Sandra Bullock who will lead the female pack in the upcoming remake.

According to Showbiz 411, Cate Blanchett has also been confirmed to join the all-female "Ocean's Eleven". But there is one bit of sad news, Jennifer Lawrence was reportedly unable to join the project due to her busy schedule.

The "Ocean's Eleven" reboot will be a continuation of the George Clooney-led films, with Sandra starring as Danny Ocean's sister. With help from her right-hand woman (Cate, playing the equivalent of Brad Pitt's Rusty), Sandra's character will form a team of thieves to steal a necklace from the Met Ball in order to frame a villainous gallery owner.

A cameo by George has reportedly been nixed for the all-female reboot, although he could potentially appear in sequels. The project is unofficially titled "Ocean's Ocho", indicating there are eight thief protagonists instead of the traditional eleven.

Gary Ross is directing, producing and writing the screenplay with "Queen & Country" scribe Olivia Milch. Shooting is expected to begin next fall.
