After years of circulating rumors, Bobby confirms that Whitney did have a secret same-sex romance with her best friend and assistant.

AceShowbiz - Bobby Brown reveals that Whitney Houston was a bisexual. The New Edition singer also confirms longtime rumors that Whitney had a secret same-sex romance with her best friend and assistant Robyn Crawford.
"I know," Bobby told Us Weekly of Whitney and Robyn's relationship, "We were married for 14 years. There are some things we talked about that were personal to us." In his new book, "Every Little Step", Bobby said Whitney was bisexual, "I'm a man and she was attracted to me!" He also claimed that his late ex-wife cheated on him with Tupac Shakur.
According to Bobby, Whitney kept denying the rumors because of her family, including her mother Cissy Houston who didn't approve of her lesbian relationship. "I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney's life, Whitney would still be alive today," he shared, "She didn't have close friends with her anymore."
In other news, Cissy is slamming Bobby's new book and his recent interview with Robin Roberts (II) on "20/20". "Last night I saw Bobby Brown's interview with Robin Roberts. It was disturbing," she tells PEOPLE, "Although the interview was supposed to promote HIS autobiography, he never spoke about his parents and siblings and any issues they might have or have had that impacted and may continue to impact on 'Every Little Step' he takes. Instead he chose to concentrate his comments primarily on Whitney. I can't help but wonder why."
"Whether I would have chosen Bobby for my daughter's husband is not important because the choice was not mine to make. She loved him and I believe him when he says he loved her," she adds, "I only wish he had loved and respected her enough to make some of the negative statements about her and Krissi while Whitney was alive and able to respond from her perspective."
Cissy also denies Bobby's claim that the first time he saw Whitney use drugs was when she was "hunched over a bureau snorting a line of coke" right before their wedding ceremony. "I must say that his story of seeing her do drugs for the first time on their wedding day is untrue (Donna Houston, Robyn Crawford and I were with Nippy the whole time before the ceremony), and more importantly, it forever casts a shadow over one of the most important days of her life."
"I am deeply disappointed that this interview to promote the story of Bobby's life seemed to be more of an expose on Whitney's life. My problem with Bobby has always been that he became her husband but not her helpmate or protector," she continues, "My prayer for Nippy and Krissi is that they will soon rest in peace. My prayer for me is that someday, somewhere beyond the horizon where we cannot see, I will be with them again. And Joy will come in the morning."
