James Gun sparks rumor about Chris Hemsworth's cameo after he is pictured goofing off with Mjolnir on the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' set.

AceShowbiz - Will "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" get a visit from Chris Hemsworth's Thor? James Gunn sparked such rumor after he was pictured wielding the God of Thunder's hammer. "I'm starting to think this has nothing to being worthy," he wrote on Instagram. On Facebook, he joked, "Getting ready to hang a painting."
As the rumor ran like a wildfire on the web, the director quickly cleared it up, "This is actually a nice little collection of my and the cast's behind-the-scenes glimpses at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. (And, no, Thor isn't in Vol. 2 - the props guy just happened to have it around and I decided to take a pic with it. Not sure if I'm able to lift it because I'm worthy or because I'm soulless like an elevator)."
The "Guardians of the Galaxy" sequel is scheduled to arrive in North American theaters on May 5, 2017. Chris Pratt is back as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, and Karen Gillan as Nebula. Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper are also back as the voice of Groot and Rocket Raccoon respectively.
