The 'Dangerous Woman' singer is ordered by her doctors to rest her vocals for a few days due to throat and sinus infection.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande is forced to pull the plug on her scheduled performance at Rock in Rio. She was supposed to take the stage in Lisbon, Portugal on Sunday, May 29, but she was advised to take a break from singing by her doctors due to illness.

"I am deeply saddened to tell my babes in Portugal that I have to cancel my performance at Rock in Rio. (I've literally been crying over this for an hour)," she explains. "I have a throat & sinus infection & my doctors have advised me not to sing for a few days."

The "Dangerous Woman" singer continues, "I promise to make it up to you, and give you the best show I'm capable of when I return. Again, I'm so sorry to the babes were coming to see me. I love you with all my heart."
