The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor and the 'Danish Girl' actress reportedly split due to her feud with his family and because she used him for fame and fortune.

AceShowbiz - Amber Heard filed for divorce from Johnny Depp after 15 months of marriage, and now the reasons behind their split are allegedly revealed. According to multiple sources, one of the reasons why the couple decided to divorce may be because the 30-year-old actress only used the 52-year-old actor for fame and money.

A recent report from HollywoodLife.com suggested that Amber married Johhny just to boost her own career, but things didn't go as she expected. "Amber really thought her career would skyrocket after marrying Johnny and it didn't. She is very career driven and wants to be one of the biggest stars in the film industry," an insider told the site. "She's focused on that and having to babysit Johnny and deal with his emotional ups and downs was too much."

A separate report claimed that Johnny's bad habit also prompted his divorce from Amber. "The Danish Girl" actress reportedly hated his habit of going out late night. "Johnny is a moody, emotional guy who is not an easy person to live with. He liked to think of himself as the Keith Richards of actors, and he also became more and more interested in being a rock and roll star as he got older which meant late nights in blues clubs and the studio," another source said.

There's also a speculation that their divorce was due to her feud with Johnny's family. TMZ reported that the actor's children, his sisters and his mom Betty Sue Palmer allegedly hated Amber, calling her a "terrible person." The conflicts between them started earlier this year when Johnny took Betty to Los Angeles to spend time in his home where he and Amber lived.
