Shelton has bought the building where Lambert's Pink Pistol boutique was located after she decided to move the store to her hometown.

AceShowbiz - Miranda Lambert decided to close her business in the small Oklahoma town where she used to share a house with her ex Blake Shelton. She closed her Pink Pistol boutique and her former husband bought the building where the store was located.

Lambert opened the boutique in late 2012. She is moving it into a larger location in her hometown of Lindale, Texas. It is scheduled to reopen in August this year. "Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home," she said.

"It feels full circle to have everything under one 'roof' basically where it all began in my hometown of Lindale," she added. "I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the employees who worked hard to help me bring the store in Tishomingo to life, as well as the patrons who came to experience the Pink Pistol and supported the store."

"As a resident of Tishomingo I'm very sorry that the Pink Pistol has decided to move its operations out of the area," Shelton said in his own statement. "We all, as a community, appreciate everything it has done for our town. As for the actual properties left behind ... I was offered the opportunity to buy them, and I have a plan brewing."

On Twitter, he additionally set the record straight when his follower asked if he bought Pink Pistol boutique. "No sir," he clarified. "PP left town. I bought the building it used to be in though!!! And yes something is brewing..."
