AceShowbiz - Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. made a surprise visit for a fan battling cancer in California with the help of Gwyneth Paltrow. On Monday, May 23, the trio took a helicopter and headed to California to spend time with the 19-year-old fan.
Earlier this month, the 43-year-old actress told the two hunky actors that Ryan Wilcox, a boy stricken with cancer, had a dream of meeting "The Avengers" stars. She then offered to drive them down to San Diego to meet the boy.
After they arrived at the teen's home, Gwyneth shared a photo of Robert, Ryan and Chris embracing each other. "Today @ryanwilcox0303 got a little surprise," Gwyneth wrote alongside the photo. "Thank you to the incredible #chrisevans and my better work half @robertdowneyjr for being the men you both are. And thank you to the Wilcox family for your hospitality! #ryanstrong."
Chris also posted a photo of himself, Robert and Gwyneth standing behind Ryan, who's wearing a Captain America T-shirt. During the visit, Ryan asked Chris to enter his room and showed him a big Captain America poster that he displayed on the wall. Meanwhile, Robert autographed his wall.

Their visit came after Ryan's friend posted a photo featuring the cancer sufferer lying on a hospital bed. "What we want for Ryan if possible is to meet the actors and actresses of the Avengers, especially Chris Evans who plays Captain America. He isn't doing too well and this would be a major way to boost his spirits and quite frankly be the best moment of his life if he literally got to meet his hero!" she wrote.
She posted the photo to get the attention of "The Avengers" actresses and actors, so they could make Ryan's dream come true. "Please share this to help get the attention of Chris, Robert, Scarlett, and the rest of the Avengers cast and try to make his dream come true! #chrisevans #avengers #makeawish #ryanstrong," she continued.
Just two weeks ago, Gwyneth regrammed the photo and wrote, "Hey @robertdowneyjr and #chrisevans, want to take a road trip? I will drive you guys down."
