AceShowbiz - The possible title of "Star Wars Episode VIII" may have been revealed. A video from a "Star Wars" celebration has surfaced online, showing a motion poster with the words "Star Wars: Fall of the Resistance" written on it.
So, it is the real title of the upcoming movie? The title does seem make sense as it follows the pattern of other films' titles in the "Star Wars" universe. Some others, however, doubt that Lucasfilm and Disney could have let such big information slip. Thus, it's possible that the "Star Wars: Fall of the Resistance" is just a working title for the movie.
"Star Wars Episode VIII" is currently in production with Rian Johnson serving behind the lens. Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie are among the returning cast, while Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern are cast in new roles.
The film is slated for a December 14, 2017 release in the U.S.
