The 'Matrix' trilogy vet will reprise her 'Jessica Jones' role as attorney Jeri Hogarth on the upcoming Netflix series.

AceShowbiz - Carrie-Anne Moss is making another crossover. First appearing on "Marvel's Jessica Jones" as attorney Jeri Hogarth, the actress is now on board to reprise the role on Netflix's upcoming new series "Marvel's Iron Fist".

Jeri Hogarth is an associate of private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Moss has reprised the role in the season 2 finale of Netflix's "Daredevil". On "Iron Fist", Hogarth will aid the titular character, who is the alter ego of Danny Rand (Finn Jones).

"Carrie-Anne has fast become a fan-favorite part of our street-level saga, and we share our viewers' excitement in bringing her into 'Marvel's Iron Fist'," said executive producer and head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb in announcing Moss' involvement in the new series. "As Marvel fans know, Hogarth in the comics plays a critical role in the life of Danny Rand, so it seems only fitting that Carrie-Anne join in."

Showrunner Scott Buck added, "Danny Rand lives in the highest stratosphere of New York's business society and he's going to need a ruthless lawyer to help him navigate with alien world. I'm very happy to have the opportunity to bring Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth into 'Marvel's Iron Fist'."

"Iron Fist" is the fourth of Marvel-Netflix's series after "Daredevil", "Jessica Jones" and the upcoming "Luke Cage". It follows Danny who returns to New York City after he has been missing for years. He will fight against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.

Filming on "Iron Fist" has been underway, but Netflix has not announced a release date for the show.
