Johnny McDaid, who's been writing songs with Styles 'for years,' says the One Direction hottie's solo songs will 'blow the socks off the world.'

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles' solo music will be mind-blowing, claims Johnny McDaid. The Snow Patrol member, who's been collaborating with the One Direction hottie "for years," teased what the Brit's new songs would be like as he discussed their songwriting sessions in a new interview with the Press Association.
"I've been friends with Harry for a long time, and we've written together a lot," McDaid told the publication. "Harry is a really prolific artist and a super-talented guy. He's really authentic and he has an incredible voice, so we've been writing a lot of songs. We've been writing songs for years together."
"I'm really excited by the way he's sounding at the minute, he's such a talent," he continued to praise Styles, before adding, "I think the world is going to be really shocked at what he comes up with... It'll blow the socks off the world."
Fans have been anticipating Styles' solo music ever since he registered four new songs with the performing rights organization ASCAP last year. Those songs, all of which feature McDaid as co-writer, include "Already Home", "Coco", "Endlessly" and "5378 Miles".
Styles is currently also working on a film while One Direction's on a break. The 22-year-old singer recently cut his signature long hair for a role in Christopher Nolan's upcoming World War II film "Dunkirk".
