Michele Fitzgerald, Cydney Gillon, Aubry Bracco and Tai Trang are vying for the grand prize in the season finale.

AceShowbiz - Who is the ultimate Survivor on "Survivor: Kaoh Rong"? The winner was revealed in the season finale that aired Wednesday night, May 18. It began with four remaining players, Michele Fitzgerald, Cydney Gillon, Aubry Bracco and Tai Trang.

The first challenge had them racing under a net and sliding tiles on a target, followed by balancing through an obstacle course. Aubry took the lead and scored her first individual win. She won a meal and got to choose if she wanted to share it with someone else or not. She chose Cydney, while Michele tried to make an alliance with Tai.

Next, the final four had to race out of the ocean and up the stairs in a series of obstacles. On the stairs, they had to solve a puzzle. Aubry had a quick start, but stumbled when trying to complete the puzzle. Michele eventually won and secured a place in the final three.

Michele tried to make everyone vote Aubry out. She convinced Cydney and talked to Tai too. When the results were revealed, it was two votes for Cydney and two votes for Aubry. So the two had a fire-starting challenge, and Aubry easily made a fire. Cydney became the last member of the jury.

The final three then had a second reward challenge, in which they had to stack some balls on a balance beam. Michele won. Instead of picking whom would go with her to Tribal Council, the reward allowed Michele to choose whom she would kick out of the jury. Host Jeff Probst said they had been considering the twist for the past seven years.

She chose to remove Neal, after getting some advice from Tai. It proved to be the right choice since once she made the decision, Neal trash talked Michele, calling her a sad puppy.

At the final Tribal Council, Tai brought up the Scot vote which only hurt Scot, not realizing that it only made him look bad for flipping from the alliance. Debbie was still unhappy that Aubry voted her out, but Aubry managed to explain that it was because their games were moving in opposite directions and she regretted voting Debbie out. Julia pointed out that Michele's game started off weak and only got stronger toward the end. Michele claimed that she needed time to find her footing in the game.

When Jason asked Tai why he chose the other alliance over him and Scot, Tai said it was because he was jealous of the two men's friendship. Scot thought Tai made a wrong decision not to trust him and made it clear that he wouldn't vote for Tai.

In their closing arguments, Aubry claimed she earned her place in the final three because of her own efforts, and Michele said she got this far by believing in herself and working hard. Tai, meanwhile, basically didn't prove anything as he chose to quote a Vietnamese proverb.

The final votes came in and the winner was Michele. "It was really about getting to know people as a friendship first," the 24-year-old bartender told Jeff about the key to her win. "I think I did play in the middle a lot, which is a kind of dangerous place to play, but at the same time, I wasn't really being blamed for anything. My name wasn't really on the chopping block that often."
