Find out if your favorite star is among the final three who will compete for the Mirror Ball trophy in next week's finale, after performing Trio dances in this week's episode.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" returned on Monday, May 16 with five remaining pairs, but only three will stay in the competition at the end of the night. This week's semifinals featured the Trio Challenge in addition to the usual individual routines, followed by double elimination.

Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas danced first in the first round of the Trio Challenge. Joined by Alan Bersten, they performed a samba with a love triangle storyline. The judges had nothing but praises and scored the dance 30 out of 30.

In the second round, Paige and Mark danced an Argentine tango which was steamy and ended with the two ripping each other's clothes. Len Goodman praised the choreography but thought it was too hot and spicy. The other judges loved it and Bruno Tonioli declared he's going to show up in speedos next week if Paige's not in the finale. The judges scored the dance 29.

Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess danced an Argentine tango with Hayley Erbert in the first round. Antonio couldn't keep up with the two female dancers, but the judges were nice to him and focused on how much he had improved instead of his latest dance. He earned 27 points.

Antonio and Sharna danced a contemporary number in the second round. It was uplifting and full of powerful lifts. Len said the dance had "the most spectacular lifts I have ever seen on this show," as Carrie Ann Inaba praised his strong determination. Antonio earned additional 28 points.

Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold danced a paso doble with Witney Carson for the Trio Challenge. He came back strong after last week's weak performance. Len gave him a standing ovation as the judges scored the dance 30.

Wanya scored another perfect score for his charleston in the second round. He showed off his fun swagger and Len hoped "you are in the final because you bring joy to me and the whole ballroom."

Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd danced a jive with the help of Jenna Johnson. It's a fun and cute routine, but was a bit hectic as Len said. Peta slipped and Bruno acknowledged how difficult the choreography was. The model earned 27 points.

For the individual routine, Nyle and Peta danced an Argentine tango. As if being deaf wasn't hard enough, he used a blindfold to further challenge himself. The judges were amazed by the performance and gave him 30 points.

Ginger Zee and Valentin Chmerkovskiy enlisted the help of Artem Chigvintsev for a paso doble. Bruno called it "fast and furious," but the judges were critical about her shaping. She earned 27 points in the first round.

Later, Ginger and Val returned to dance a quickstep which was fun and quick. Carrie Ann noticed a little issue where Ginger got caught in her dress, but said the dance was elegant. The judge scored the dance 29.

Next was time for the results. Ginger & Val were the first to be announced safe. Nyle & Peta and Paige & Mark also made it into the finale. This meant Wanya & Lindsay as well as Antonio & Sharna were eliminated based on last week's scores and voting.
