AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey reportedly played the diva card at the 27th GLAAD Awards on Saturday night, May 14. According to Radar Online, the "Heartbreaker" songstress insisted on the carpet being completely cleared of any other celebrities before she posed for pictures.
Wearing a sheer, cleavage-baring silver long dress, Mariah arrived one and a half hours late at the event, according to an onlooker. "The red carpet had to be clear of all other celebrities," the insider revealed. Once there, the 46-year-old singer posed for pictures with her fiance James Packer.
The source claimed that Mariah was still difficult after making her grand entrance. "She told a reporter that they had to move the camera to catch her 'good side,' " shared the source.
On the red carpet, Mariah told reporters that she had already selected her wedding dress but wouldn't talk about her upcoming nuptials because "that's obnoxious."
While accepting her Ally Award from director Lee Daniels, however, Mariah was sweet as can be. "Thank you for the unconditional love," she told the crowd, before joking, "I wish all of you love, peace, harmony, and as my 5-year-old son Rocky likes to say, boobies and butts."
