Movie

Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel will reportedly make an appearance in the next 'Avengers' movie before getting her own solo movie.

AceShowbiz - While Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) are making their debut in the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War", there is another hero who may join "The Avengers". Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel will reportedly make her debut in "Avengers: Infinity War Part I".

According to Heroic Hollywood, the actress cast in the role of Captain Marvel will be on set by the time "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" begins filming in Atlanta this November. The new rumor came after Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige made a statement that "Captain Marvel" cast announcements are coming before summer's end.

Kevin said that the solo movie would center on Carol's "journey to being Captain Marvel."

It's, however, still unclear if Marvel has cast her yet. Some reports claim the role has been filled, while other maintain that the studio is still testing performers for the part. Brie Larson and Ronda Rousey are among some actresses who are rumored to take the role.

As Warner Bros. is ready with "Wonder Woman" solo movie starring Gal Gadot in 2017, Marvel needs to make sure that they absolutely nail "Captain Marvel" in her own solo film.

"Avengers: Infinity War Part I" is set to hit U.S. theaters on May 4, 2018.
