Barry seeks his father Henry and Joe for advice as he and Wells come up with a dangerous plan to get his speed back.

AceShowbiz - After losing his speed to Zoom, Barry needs his powers back to protect Central City. In the latest episode of "The Flash", Wells came up with the plan to [SPOILER ALERT!] recreate particle accelerator explosion to get Barry's speed back, but it's extremely dangerous.
Unsure if he should take the risk, Barry reaches out to both fathers for advice. John Wesley Shipp will return as Henry who is adamantly opposed to Barry risking his life again, while Joe thinks he can handle it which puts the two men at odds with each other.
Also in "Rupture", Zoom arrives back on Earth-1 intent on taking over Central City. Cisco is shocked when he vibes the Earth-2 villain Rupture, who happens to be his brother Dante's (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez) doppelganger. Rupture came to this Earth seeking justice for Reverb's death. Iris decides she's finally ready to open up to Barry about her feelings for him.
The new episode will air Tuesday, May 3 at 8/7c on The CW. Executive producers Andrew Kreisberg says the next episode "is about the ethics of doing" particle accelerator explosion. He adds, "It's complicated and dangerous. Everyone, including Barry, has to sort of decide if this is the right way to go, considering the craziness that ensued last time. They're sort of faced with a damned if you do, damned if you don't, because Zoom is about to unleash a reign of terror on the city."
On why Barry needs his father back, Kreisberg explains, "Barry reaches out to him, that he's lost his speed. He needs his dad, he needs his advice, because Barry is at a crossroads of what he should do or what he shouldn't do, because he's being presented with a monumental decision that could not only affect him and possibly kill him, it could kill everybody in S.T.A.R. Labs, it could set off another chain reaction and affect everyone in the city."
