The singer puts an ex on a blast on the collaboration released as another preview from her upcoming sophomore album, 'Thank You'.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Trainor keeps the anticipation of her new album high by releasing a new song off it. After previewing it in an Instagram post earlier this week, the singer dropped "Better" featuring Yo Gotti in its entirety on late Thursday night, April 21.

Unlike the sassy and upbeat cuts like "No" and "Watch Me Do", the latest offering is a mid-tempo tune which finds Trainor putting an ex on a blast over the island-themed production. "I was warned but fooled by charm/ And you deserve to be alone," she sings before repeatedly declaring in the chorus, "And I deserve better, better than you."

Yo Gotti appears later on the song to deliver some lines about giving his girl the treatment she deserves. "I think you deserve a king/ I think you deserve the world and everything in it/ And I try to go get it to show you I meant it when I/ Tell you I'm sorry, tomorrow I promise that I try to better/ I'll do whatever for mine," he raps.

Trainor's sophomore album, "Thank You", is due out on May 13. She will promote it with a North American tour that's set to kick off July 14 in Vancouver. Hailee Steinfeld and Common Kings are joining the 22-year-old hitmaker on the road.
