The raptress posts on Twitter a photo of her hitting the studio with Mars and says in the caption she 'had a blast vibing' with the 'Locked Out of Heaven' singer.

AceShowbiz - A Missy Elliott and Bruno Mars collaboration is apparently on the way. The raptress hinted that she'd worked on new music with the Hawaii-born singer when she posted on Twitter two pictures of them hitting the studio together.

Elliott, clad in all-black, seemed to be enjoying the studio session with Mars. They're all smiles in the pictures, which came with a caption that read, "Had a blast vibing wit my fam @BrunoMars @ the studio! GoodVibes He got some [fire emoji]! He such a rare gem! Big up Sunny."

Elliott and Mars are currently readying their respective new album. Following her much-talked-about appearance at the 2015 Super Bowl, the "Work It" hitmaker has been working hard on what would be her first LP since 2005's "The Cookbook".

She released the single "WTF (Where They From)" last year and another song called "Pep Rally" back in February. She most recently joined the likes of Kelly Rowland, Zendaya Coleman and Kelly Clarkson for FLOTUS Michele Obama's star-studded anthem "This Is for My Girls".

Mars, meanwhile, is reportedly planning to drop a follow-up to 2012's "Unorthodox Jukebox" later this year. According to his father Pete Hernandez , the singer was supposed to unveil a new song in March, but was forced to delay it due to his surprise appearance with Beyonce Knowles during Coldplay's headlining set at Super Bowl 50.

"It was due in March, but by doing the Super Bowl, it threw him back several months," Hernandez said in a recent interview. "Bruno has seven great new songs - I've heard 'em - but the album should now be released in September or October, to qualify for next year's Grammy Awards."
