The 'Famous' rapper believed Kim made a big mistake getting engaged to Kris Humphries so he tried to talk some sense into her.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West makes a shocking revelation in an episode of episode of "Kocktails with Khloe". The rapper reveals he didn't own a cell phone until 2011 after Kim Kardashian was engaged to Kris Humphries. According to him, he only bought the gadget to convince his future wife to call off the wedding.
"I got a phone because somebody decided they wanted to marry Kris Humphries," Kanye opens up. "I wasn't up to anything, and I looked on the internet, and there was Kim Kardashian with some extremely tall person, and I was like, I need to call her or something." He adds, "I started sending her pictures of certain basketball players that used to be cool, that now they wear their pants all the way up to here, like, 'This is your future!' "
John Legend who also appears on Khloe Kardashian's show with his own wife Chrissy Teigen confirms Kanye's story. "I remember when you didn't have a phone, and then you got one, and the only number that you had was ...," he says while gesturing to Kim who sits next to the hip-hop star.
