Daisy Ridley and J.J. Abrams to Collaborate Again in 'Kolma'
Movie

The 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' actress is in negotiations to star in the fantasy thriller described as a cross between 'The Notebook' and 'Defending Your Life'.

AceShowbiz - Daisy Ridley is going to work once again with her "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" director J.J. Abrams in fantasy thriller "Kolma". Ridley is in talks to star in the Paramount pic while Abrams is producing through his Bad Robot banner.

Based on Keren Margalit's 2003 Israeli movie of the week titled "All I've Got" (Kol Ma She'Yesh Li), the film tells the story of a young woman who survives a car accident that kills her boyfriend. When she reaches the afterlife decades later, she must choose between returning to her first love with no memory of her later years or remaining as she is to await the passing of her longtime husband.

"Kolma" has been described as a cross between Nick Cassavetes' 2004 romance "The Notebook" and Albert Brooks' 1991 fantasy romance "Defending Your Life". Megan Holley wrote the most recent draft of the script. "Diary of a Teenage Girl" filmmaker Marielle Heller is in negotiations to direct, TheWrap reported. Budget is set in the range of $60 million to $70 million, enough to make modest visual effects.
