The Lumineers' 'Cleopatra' Claims the Throne on Billboard 200 Chart

This marks the folk rock band's first No. 1 album on the chart as last week's champion Kanye West's 'The Life of Pablo' slides down to No. 4.

AceShowbiz - The Lumineers' "Cleopatra" has become the new champion on Billboard 200 chart. With 125,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending April 14, the band easily scored the feat. It marks the first No. 1 album for the five-piece group, whose self-titled debut album peaked at No. 2 following its release in 2012.

At No. 2, there's another new debut, Deftones' "Gore". An eighth studio album by the alternative metal band, it sold 71,000 equivalent units, with 69,000 in pure album sales. It's their highest charting album since their self-titled fourth album debuted and peaked at No. 2 in 2003.

Chris Stapleton's "Traveller" relocated to No. 3 with 48,000 (down 34|percent|) after placing second last week. Last week's champion Kanye West's "The Life of Pablo" dropped three places to No. 4 with 47,000 units (down 50|percent|).

On the other hand, Rihanna's "Anti" rose from No. 6 to No. 5 with 44,000 units, Justin Bieber's "Purpose" climbed two rungs to No. 6 with 38,000 units, and Twenty One Pilots' "Blurryface" jumped from No. 10 to No. 7 with additional 33,000 units.

Zayn Malik's "Mind of Mine" slipped from No. 7 to No. 8 with 31,000 units. Adele's "25" held onto No. 9 with additional 30,000 units, and Lukas Graham's self-titled album slid from No. 3 to No. 10 with 27,000 units.
