There will be no more Kira Yukimura in the upcoming sixth season of 'Teen Wolf' as the show is wrapping up with her storyline.

AceShowbiz - Arden Cho bids her farewell to "Teen Wolf". The 30-year-old actress revealed on Twitter on Monday, April 11 that she wouldn't be returning as Kira Yukimura for the upcoming sixth season of "Teen Wolf".

Arden explained her exit to her fans in a vlog titled "Goodbye Teenwolf". She said, "I just want to say I love Kira Yukimura so much. I love the Yukimura family. I loved my experience on 'Teen Wolf'. I love the cast and crew, it's been an amazing three-and-a-half years. It's gone by so fast, but unfortunately, it looks like we are wrapped up with Kira's storyline and she won't be coming back for Season 6."

She continued, "Sorry there were some interviews where I said I was excited for season 6. Because I think at the time we were assuming that we were back. And yeah, I think sometimes in a show where there are so many characters, there isn't always room for everyone and everyone's storylines, so I guess that was it."

Arden, however, goes on to say that it's always possible that Kira and herself could return to "Teen Wolf", although there are no plans in the immediate future for her character on the show.

This is the third major cast departure for "Teen Wolf". The show said goodbye to Crystal Reed in season three and Tyler Hoechlin in season four. Arden joined the cast in a recurring capacity in season three before being promoted to a series regular in season four.
