AceShowbiz - Rihanna and The Beatles now have one more thing in common. As her Drake-assisted "Work" spends another week atop Billboard Hot 100, the Bajan singer has matched a record set by the legendary British group years ago.
On the chart this week, RiRi's hit earns its eighth week at No. 1. As Billboard points out, this is a major milestone for the 28-year-old as she ties the Fab Four for second-most total weeks at No. 1 with 59. Mariah Carey remains the only artist with the most total weeks spent at the summit with 79.
That's not all. "Work" is also RiRi's second-longest leading track on the Hot 100, beating out "Umbrella" and her collaboration with Eminem, "Love the Way You Lie". It only needs two more weeks at the top slot to match "We Found Love" with Calvin Harris.
"Work", marking the songbird's 14th chart-topping single, is lifted off her latest album "Anti" which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard 200 and is now sitting at No. 6 on the list.
Other highlights from this week's Billboard Hot 100 include Desiigner's "Panda" which jumps from No. 14 to No. 5, Mike Posner's "I Took a Pill in Ibiza" that reaches a new peak at No. 8 and Fifth Harmony's "Work From Home" that also rises one rung to No. 9.
