The 'Deadpool' actor joked about his sex life with wife Blake Lively while accepting his trophy at the star-studded awards show.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds showed his funny side while accepting the Best Comedic Performance Award for his role in "Deadpool" at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards on Saturday, April 9. The 39-year-old actor joked about his sex life with wife Blake Lively during his acceptance speech.

"I'd like to thank Twentieth Century Fox, the 'Deadpool' team, the entire crew up in Vancouver," Reynolds said, before jokingly adding, "I want to thank my wife, Blake. Everything I do is to make her laugh, especially the sex!"

The father of one also poked fun at fellow nominee Amy Schumer, who was nominated for "Trainwreck". "I'm really glad Amy Schumer didn't win, that would be really weird with those dances," Reynolds told the audience, referring to presenters Zac Efron and Seth Rogen's dances alongside a group of Deadpools when they welcomed Reynolds on stage.

"I have been trying to get 'Deadpool' made for over a decade and I failed and it's you the fans that got this made. The reason I'm standing up here is because of you guys, and we had blast working on this movie, but it wasn't all unicorns and cocaine," the mutant depicter added.

Later that night, Reynolds and his co-star Ed Skrein also won Best Fight for their epic combat in the Marvel antihero movie.
