Carrie Ann Inaba is moved by Jodie Sweetin's foxtrot, and Nyle DiMarco performs a powerful and fast tango to celebrate the time he found himself.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" contestants celebrated their Most Memorable Years in the April 4 episode of the dancing competition series. Mark Ballas, who was sidelined last week after injuring his back during rehearsal, was back to dance with his partner Paige VanZant.

Taking the stage first were Ginger Zee and Valentin Chmerkovskiy who danced a contemporary number to commemorate 2013, the year she met her husband Ben Aaron and got engaged. "Dance is a marriage between music and movement and you pulled it off. I would have liked some more fluidity in the arms," Len Goodman said. Bruno Tonioli liked that she acted out well, but told her to extend her movements. The judges gave her 21 out of 30 points.

Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff danced a waltz to honor his parents, who both died on the same day. It was a heartbreaking yet sweet story of his parents' eternal love. Carrie Ann Inaba was moved by the emotional routine. Len commented, "It was a little unstable at times but it had elegance, style and emotion," while Bruno almost had nothing to criticize Doug's performance. The former NFL quarterback earned 20 points.

Kim Fields and Sasha Farber followed it up with a foxtrot to celebrate 1976, the year she landed her first acting job on a syrup commercial. Carrie Ann praised their teamwork as saying, "Together, you guys are the A-team." Len added that "it was like maple syrup, smooth and tasty." Kim earned 22 points.

Up next, Von Miller and Witney Carson danced a contemporary number to celebrate his team Denver Broncos' Super Bowl win last February. Len appreciated it that he gave it 100 percent, but Carrie Ann wanted more from the NFL player. He earned 20 points.

Dancing a jive with Tony Dovolani, Marla Maples chose 1993 as her most memorable year because that's when her daughter Tiffany Trump was born. The dance was very energetic. Bruno liked the content, but said she was flat footed. The Broadway star earned 21 points.

Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess danced a foxtrot to celebrate 2007, the year his son was born which changed everything for him. Carrie Ann "saw much more refinement," but Len disagreed. He said it was "a competent performance" but didn't see "enough refinement." Bruno complained that Antonio skipped. The NFL star earned 20 points.

Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas took the stage next to dance a combative paso doble in a ring to recall 2014, the year she debuted in the UFC. Len said it was "a wonderful performance," but "it didn't look like a Paso Doble though." Carrie Ann disagreed, calling it "innovative." Paige earned 23 points.

Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe danced a foxtrot to celebrate her sobriety after getting into drugs and alcohol after "Full House" ended. It was a heartbreaking and powerful performance which Bruno dubbed her "best performance to date." Carrie Ann said, "It was the most inspiring of the night." The judges gave her 23 points.

Mischa Barton and Artem Chigvintsev danced a samba as she recalled the time she quit "The O.C.". Carrie Ann said Mischa "had a breakthrough tonight" and seemed to have fun, but noticed her lack of musicality. Len said it was her best dance so far. The actress earned 18 points.

Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold danced a waltz to "National Anthem '96 Olympic Ceremonies" by Boyz II Men. Len commented, "I think you lost your posture on occasions but you have lovely fluid movements like ice cream on apple pie." Bruno noticed "little mistakes," but still called it "a stellar performance." The singer earned 24 points.

Last but not least, Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd danced a tango to commemorate 2012, the year he traveled the world and explored outside of the deaf community without an interpreter. It was fast and Len said he lost his frame on occasion because of it, but praised his efforts. Carrie Ann gushed, "You were better than Superman," and Bruno loved the "passion, beauty of movement."

After the dances, it was time for the elimination. Doug & Karina, Mischa & Artem and Jodie & Keo were in jeopardy. At the end of the night, Mischa & Artem were cut. This was not surprising since Mischa was one of the worst dancers on the competition.
