The pop ballad is a perfect companion to the Syfy movie, which is premiering on April 1 and will see the boybanders 'fighting zombies in a post-apocalyptic world.'

AceShowbiz - Backstreet Boys and NSYNC are joining forces to fight zombies in the new TV movie "Dead 7". Fans last week were treated to the first trailer featuring the boybanders, who have now reunited for the nostalgic theme song called "In the End".

Nick Carter, A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough from Backstreet Boys contribute to the track along with NSYNC's Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick as well as other '90s boyband members like 98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons and O-Town's Erik-Michael Estrada.

The pop ballad is pretty good and sounds like something from their late '90s-early 2000s albums. To match the film, which is about the dudes "fighting zombies in a post-apocalyptic world," they sing some heartbreaking lyrics like, "Don't look back/ Nothing's gonna save us in the end."

"Dead 7" was masterminded by Nick Carter, who wrote the story and co-produced the film with The Asylum. Sawyer Perry wrote the screenplay while music video specialist Danny Roew directed. Syfy picked it up as original movie and will premiere it on April 1 at 8 P.M. ET/PT.
