'Lights Out' and 'Conjuring 2' Trailers Provoke Deep Fears
Movie

One movie deals with supernatural entity which feeds on darkness while the other deals with a little girl haunted by demons in her own house.

AceShowbiz - Those with dark phobia, avert your eyes! The first trailer to "Lights Out" starring Teresa Palmer has been released, revealing how a haunting woman appears every time the light is turned off.

Directed by David F. Sandberg and produced by James Wan, "Lights Out" centers on a supernatural entity attacking a family, with one of the members required to step up to protect them from a threat that can be seen only when the lights go out.

The trailer was premiered at New Line's WonderCon panel on Saturday, March 26 along with a new trailer for Wan's "The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist". The second round of the acclaimed horror now visits London where the Amityville horror haunts a family.

Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson reprise their roles as real-life paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren. They go across the pond to investigate the case of the Enfield Poltergeist in England. "After everything we've seen, there isn't much that rattles either of us anymore. But this one, this one still haunts me," Lorraine says in the trailer.

The Warrens encounter a single mother whose young daughter, Janet, is having a particularly haunting experience with demons. After having a premonition, Lorraine finds out that the family is just a "pawn" and "something inhuman" wants to kill her husband.

"Lights Out" hits U.S. theaters July 22 while "The Conjuring 2" arrives in theaters across the nation June 10.
