AceShowbiz - CBS has announced the first batch of orders for the 2016-2017 TV season. Eleven shows have been renewed for another season. They are "Mom", "Blue Bloods", "Elementary", "Hawaii Five-0", "Madam Secretary", "NCIS: Los Angeles", "NCIS: New Orleans", "Scorpion" and "2 Broke Girls" as well as reality series "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race".

They all join the network's flagship drama and comedy "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" and "The Big Bang Theory" respectively which previously got early renewals. Meanwhile, veteran drama "Criminal Minds" and "CSI: Cyber" have not been renewed.

No freshman series makes the cut so far, but the biggest shock is that "Supergirl" which has created a big buzz in its first-year run has not been picked up for a second season yet. The likes of "Limitless" and "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" are also awaiting verdicts on their future.

As for "Person of Interest", "The Good Wife" and "Mike & Molly", their endings with the current season have been previously announced.
