'America's Next Top Model' winner Nyle DiMarco got stitches for a cut above his eyebrow which he got during rehearsal with his partner Peta Murgatroyd.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" season 22 is yet to kick off, but one contestant was already sent to hospital. "America's Next Top Model" winner Nyle DiMarco was injured during rehearsal with his professional dancer partner Peta Murgatroyd.

Just a few days into his training for the reality dance competition, Nyle was accidentally struck in the face by Peta, his rep confirms to PEOPLE. He was cut just above his eyebrow and it required four stitches.

Fortunately, Nyle was able to be back in the studio for rehearsals for the season premiere. "We've been rehearsing quite a lot," the deaf model said last week, "It's been amazing and full of [surprises]."

Meanwhile, Mischa Barton admits her rehearsals with her partner Artem Chigvintsev have been "a rough ride." The former "The O.C." star writes in a blog for PEOPLE, "Like any new working relationship, you never know if your personalities are going to clash or what the teacher-student relationship is to work. And I won't lie, in the beginning things went very slowly and I've had a bit of a rough ride."

"Artem would show me a sequence and expect me to pick it up, but all I could do was start laughing because it was so overwhelming," she goes on sharing. "I don't mind that he's a little hard on me because I know that means he's taking this seriously just like I am."

She adds, "But I also have to keep reminding myself that we can't work ourselves too hard. We have really long days in the rehearsal studio, and I've had to work on taking more breaks because I'll realize I haven't eaten all day and I'm getting moody and hangry because of it."

Mischa says she's already hurt her neck and back, but she keeps "practicing yoga because stretching is so important." On the positive side, she says, "I can feel my body opening up and I just feel more in tune with my muscles."

"DWTS" season 22 premieres Monday, March 21 at 8 P.M. ET on ABC.
