The 'Grease Live' star, who portrays insurance claims adjuster Emily Locke, and another actress playing DC superhero Crimson Fox are spotted filming the NBC pilot in Vancouver.

AceShowbiz - Vanessa Hudgens has been filming NBC's DC Comics comedy pilot "Powerless". The former Disney darling was spotted shooting her scene outside Vancouver's historic Marine Building, sporting short wavy hair and donning a blue coat to portray insurance claims adjuster Emily Locke.

In another picture obtained by YVRShoots, another actress clad in an all-red costume as DC superhero Crimson Fox was seen filming her scene in downtown Vancouver. It's unknown who plays the character since her face is hidden under a mask.

"Powerless" is described as a single-camera workplace comedy set at "one of the worst insurance companies in America - with the twist being that it also takes place in the universe of DC Comics. The show is about the reality of working life for a normal, powerless person in a world of superheroes and villains."

Hudgens' Emily is a non-powered human "who loves her job because she gets to help people. Emily likes to fly under the radar and just get her work done. She finds herself increasingly exasperated by the disruptive antics of the various superheroes that proliferate in her city."

Ben Queen writes the script and Michael Patrick Jann is directing the pilot. Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk and Christina Kirk are also starring.
